Biography
Robert hails from Charlotte, North Carolina. With a BA degree in Education from the University of North Carolina., Robert taught junior high school for three years before enlisting in the US Army. Several years later, Robert received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri. After a thirty year practice in the Kansas City area, Robert moved to Whidbey Island, Washington, to continue study in the techniques of Therapeutic Massage and Structural Muscular Balancing. Robert moved to Western North Carolina in 2007 where he currently lives and works in the hospitality and health fields. Being told several times throughout his life that he would become a writer, Robert put this idea behind him until he met a co-worker who sparked his interest in writing. Unexpected Performance is Roberts’s first book, and contains both true and imagined happenings based upon his experiences in the field of hospitality.
